Use of the Service

Karnaugh Map Solver is a set of online tools for working through Boolean logic problems, covering:

• Karnaugh maps
• truth tables
• Boolean expressions
• minterms and maxterms
• don't-care conditions
• SOP and POS simplification
• logic circuit diagrams
• step-by-step solutions
• PDF exports

You don't need an account for normal use of the main solver. It's meant for personal, educational, academic, and other lawful purposes.

Educational Purpose

Think of Karnaugh Map Solver as a learning and calculation tool. It can simplify Boolean functions, check your K-Map groupings, compare different forms of a function, and help make sense of logic-circuit representations.

We aim for accurate results, but you should still double-check anything important on your own. This site isn't a substitute for a proper engineering review, formal certification, or whatever instructions your school, university, teacher, or employer has given you.

Accuracy of Results

Results generated here can include simplified SOP or POS expressions, K-Map groupings, prime implicants, circuit diagrams, term counts, literal counts, gate counts, and more.

We put effort into keeping the solver reliable, but software isn't immune to bugs, odd edge cases, or quirks tied to a specific browser. Before relying on a result for anything that matters academically, professionally, or in hardware work, check it yourself.

Acceptable Use

Normal, lawful use of Karnaugh Map Solver is fine. What's not fine is intentionally:

• interfering with the website
• attempting unauthorized access
• bypassing security measures
• introducing malicious code
• overloading the service with automated requests
• using the site for anything illegal
• deliberately disrupting other visitors

If automated activity starts causing unreasonable traffic or gets in the way of normal operation, we may limit it.

Your Input

Whatever you enter into the solver is your responsibility. The input fields are built for Boolean logic data, not for anything else.

Don't put passwords, payment information, confidential records, personal identification, or other sensitive information into the K-Map, truth table, expression, minterm, or maxterm fields.

Intellectual Property

Karnaugh maps, Boolean algebra, SOP, POS, Quine-McCluskey, Petrick's Method, minterms, maxterms, and the mathematical ideas behind them are general technical concepts — we're not claiming ownership over any of that.

What is protected, where applicable, is the original content we've created: the website's design, branding, interface, source code, graphics, and other original material built specifically for Karnaugh Map Solver.

You're free to use results generated from your own inputs for study, coursework, personal projects, and similar lawful purposes. What you shouldn't do is copy substantial parts of the site's original content, interface, or source code and pass them off as your own without permission.

PDF Downloads

Where it's available, PDF export lets you save a solution built from your own input — the K-Map, groupings, simplified result, solution steps, and circuit diagram can all appear in that file.

Review the generated result before you rely on it or pass it along to someone.

Advertising

You may see ads on Karnaugh Map Solver from Google AdSense or other advertising providers.

An ad showing up doesn't mean we're endorsing or vouching for the advertiser, the product, the service, or any claim made in it. Whatever happens if you interact with an advertiser or a third-party site from there is separate from Karnaugh Map Solver.

Third-Party Services

Parts of the site depend on outside providers for hosting, analytics, advertising, security, or performance monitoring. Those providers run under their own terms and policies, and we're not responsible for systems or services they operate independently.

Availability of the Website

We try to keep the site up and working the way it should, but there will be times it's unavailable — maintenance, updates, hosting issues, network problems, that kind of thing. Features can also change, get improved, get replaced, or get dropped over time.

Karnaugh Map Solver is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To whatever extent the law allows, we can't guarantee every calculation will be error-free, that every feature will always be up, or that the site behaves identically across every browser and device. If something matters, verify it independently.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law permits, Karnaugh Map Solver and its operator aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses tied to using the site, relying on a result it generated, service interruptions, or third-party services.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as the site, its features, or relevant requirements change. When that happens, the Last updated date at the top is revised as well.
